@champssports.womens Best practices
Hello and welcome to the Champs Sports Crew! This Instagram page specializes in women’s shoes and apparel.
Here’s a guide to our best social media practices that keeps our brand growing:
1. High-Quality Photos
We go above and beyond to make our products stand out by using great camera quality, colorful backgrounds, and clever product placement.
2. Product Tags
We always like to tag the price of our products and also the link to purchase. Product tagging makes it easier for our customers to purchase and get more info on our products.
3. Hashtags
In all our posts, we include the hashtag #HERTAKE which is a hashtag that is inclusive for all our customers to use when posting our products. We also use approximately 26 hashtags that are usually the popular shoe hashtags and the name of the shoes. Due to the high number of hashtags, we add them as a comment to our posts.
4. Captions
We usually feature 50- 150-character count in our captions and also one emoji that matches the aesthetic of the post.
5. Customer Service
Our tone and voice really show in the way we interact with our customers on page. We respond as if they’re our friends. I do feel we could respond more to our customers that respond more with questions about our site and products. By simply providing a link to our customer feedback would show that we value our customers and care about them.
6. User-Generated Content
We love to feature our stylish customers who rock our products on our page. We also give them their photo credits as well.
7. Influencers
Anytime a female social media influencer or celebrity drops a collaboration with one of our shoe brands we always feature their line on our page. This not only gives their collection exposure, but us as well by customers choosing to buy the product on our site.
8. Brand Responsibility
We refuse to ignore the current issues that occur in our world. As a brand, we know that we have to hold our selves responsible for the change that needs to take place. For example, on May 30th we posted a letter from our CEO stating that we are a company who values diversity and inclusion and that we have continue to fight for equal rights for all.
We also took part in #BlackOutTuesday to show our support for the Black Lives Matter movement. As a company we felt that wasn’t enough, so on June 4th through June 9th we closed our stores in states that the late George Floyd once lived.
9. IGTV
We occasionally post #HERTAKE videos that sheds spotlight powerful women with careers. These women not only showcase their style in the video, but they also give their take on what they do in their field that sets them apart from others. These videos are not just for promoting our brand, but also inspiring our customers to embrace whatever they do or wear.
As you can see, our page not only promotes cute shoes and outfits, but also woman empowerment, social change, and self-confidence. We want our customers to take pride in what they wear and do.
